Mindfulness has become a popular term, but what is mindfulness and how can it help you and your staff? This brief session will help you learn the science and health benefits of mindfulness for reducing stress, staying focused and being a better administrator, lawyer and family member. If you are struggling to maintain balance in this time of constant distractions and 24/7 connection, you are not alone. Consider mindfulness meditation as training for the brain.
The NJALA Workshop presenter is Cynthia O’Connell. Cynthia is a Specialist Professor in the Educational Counseling graduate program at Monmouth University and is a certified Yoga Calm® Trainer and an RYT200 Yoga Instructor. She received her training in teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Integrative Medicine Center in Philadelphia.
** NJALA has partnered with the NJSBA/NJICLE to present the Mindfulness program as a way to create synergies between the Associations and invites members of both organizations to attend at no cost. Following the Mindfulness program, NJALA members are invited to attend NJSBA/NJICLE’s program “An Introduction to Commercial Leasing”, at the NJSBA member rate of just $136.
